So - we found homes for all five of the kittens we discovered, four in other people's homes (two each) and one in ours. We kept Otto, the white one with black spots (polka-dotted, according to Ella). He's quite a character, very vocal and pretty friendly. He also eats two breakfasts and two dinners every day (he's a growing boy) and he likes people-food like yogurt, pinto beans and corn on the cob:
He is still small enough for Ella to tote him around, but I expect he will be quite a hefty one when he grows up, considering his appetite.

well, I've never seen that before!
then again, I've never known people to offer their own food to a cat either.
that is going to be one expensive cat if he learns to prefer people-food to cat-food.
p.s. Ella's right - he IS polka-dotted!
Well his mama is vegetarian, so he is too, of course! He looks like a very nice kitty.
