Three years later, she was a funny, smart and silly preschooler...
And now she is a First Grader!
The long-awaited and oft-requested bunny has not yet joined our family but since it's been so anticipated, it may happen within the next few months. We have a busy weekend planned, and are very happy to have Ella's beloved and loving Oma here with us to celebrate.

What a beautiful posting. Thank you Nicole & Jim for making me a tante 6 years ago by bringing our wonderful Ella into the world. I cannot believe she is 6 already. I wish we could have given her the birthday surprise you gave me this year! Well, maybe in the future sometime...

Ella is such a big girl (although still a bit shy, but then I'm afraid that's hereditary!). She does so well at school and Dutch school. When she DOES come to Holland, you will be proud too!
And she gives her Oma so many hugs and kisses... I hope enough to last 'til the next time we're together! Loving every minute of being here.
